Recently Ellen, a friend of ours at the Tree City Quilters' Guild in Gainesville showed me a magazine article. All the members of Ellen's quilt group were making a particular block detailed in the magazine, but they were having a challenge squaring it up at the end.

These blocks finished at an uncommon 8 ½", or 9" unfinished. Could Crafty Bev make a squaring up template they could use for that purpose? First, we ensured that we would not violate anyone's patent or copyright if we made this item.

And so, Crafty Bev is very happy to offer our Nine-Inch Specialty Squaring-Up Template that will make completing a 9" unfinished / 8 ½" finished block a piece of cake, and a work of art. It includes the markings needed to precisely align and trim a block of this size.
